The University of Malta offers partial to fully funded scholarships, providing tuition fee waivers ranging from 40% to 100%, depending on the applicant’s performance during the evaluation process. Almost all academic fields are available under this scholarship scheme.
Students with strong academic backgrounds who are unable to afford higher education costs in Europe are highly encouraged to apply. Both full-time and part-time research-based Master’s and PhD programs are supported. It is important to note that professional doctorate programs and MBA-type degrees are not offered under this scholarship.

The University of Malta Scholarships 2026–27 are awarded based on the applicant’s online interview score. The tuition fee waiver is granted as follows:
