Work Responsibilities
- Operate hydro/vac water trucks to supply water and manage dust control on job sites
- Coordinate with site supervisors and grading teams to determine water needs
- Load and unload materials safely using hoses and nozzles
- Inspect and maintain truck systems and spray equipment
- Drive safely through construction zones and public roads
- Follow DOT, company, and site-specific safety procedures
- Assist with other site operations as directed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or hydro/vac truck operation
- Valid CDL with tanker endorsement
- Ability to safely navigate rough terrain and active construction sites
- Must pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check and drug screening
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of truck cabs
- Willing to travel across regional job sites as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, or humid)
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Dust Control Coordinator Certification
- Previous experience operating hydro or vacuum trucks in large-scale projects
- Familiarity with DOT and OSHA safety regulations
