Work Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Storeman, your duties will include:
- Operating forklifts (where licensed)
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Prioritising timely dispatch of outgoing goods
- Processing inward goods and allocating stock correctly
- Handling warehouse paperwork and basic administration
- Using computer systems for stock and order management
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Supporting the Store Manager and Lead Storeman with daily operations
Job Requirements
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to repeatedly lift items weighing up to 25 kg
- Forklift Licence: Advantageous but not essential
- Driver’s Licence: Must hold a clean New Zealand driver’s licence
- Transport: Reliable personal transport is required
- Skills: Basic computer skills, good numeracy, and the ability to follow instructions
- Work Eligibility: Must have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa
