What the Scholarship Covers

The Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship provides comprehensive study-related support:

• Full tuition fee waiver (complete tuition covered)
• Monthly stipend: HUF 43,700 per month
• Accommodation allowance (details per award)
• Additional living allowance: HUF 40,000 per month

  Note: IELTS/TOEFL is not required for the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements

• Open to applicants from abroad (non-Hungarian nationals). Applications from Hungarian citizens or dual nationals with Hungary are not accepted.
• Applicants must not be already enrolled in any self-financed higher education program in Hungary at the time of application.
• Candidates who have previously received the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship are not eligible to reapply.
• Applicants must be under 18 years old on 31 August 2026 to apply for certain entry levels (check program-specific age rules).
