PhD Position Summary/Title: We will create theory, techniques, and applications for optimal transport problems in this project. Historically, the field of optimal transport was primarily applied in economics and logistics, but it has recently expanded to include many other application areas, including multi-agent systems, machine learning, probability theory, and imaging.

This is due to recent advances in algorithms and increased computational power. A family of generalized optimal transport problems known as multi-marginal optimal transport problems will be examined in this study.
