The internship duration ranges from 3 to 6 months, and the Fall 2026 intake will run from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. The OIST Research Internship is open to currently enrolled Bachelor’s and Master’s students, as well as those who have recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Interns will conduct research under the supervision of leading OIST faculty members in a world-class research environment. IELTS or TOEFL is not required, making this opportunity accessible to a wide range of international applicants.
