Our Malvern processing site near Christchurch is preparing for its busy seasonal period, and we are now recruiting Night Shift Meat Process Workers to join our growing production teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. No previous meat processing experience is required, as full on-the-job training is provided. Duties & Responsibilities
- Processing and handling meat products safely and efficiently
- Working in various plant areas such as stockyards, cold stores, boning rooms, or processing lines
- Operating machinery where trained
- Knife handling and trimming (for skilled workers)
- Maintaining hygiene, quality, and food safety standards
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
- Always following health and safety procedures
What We Are Looking For

- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends when required
- Physical fitness and comfort with hands-on, repetitive tasks

Previous experience in meat processing, knife handling, or food manufacturing is an advantage but not essential.Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: NZD $23.50 – $35.00 (based on skills and experience)
