This fully funded 8-week summer internship program provides an incredible opportunity for international students to gain hands-on research experience at one of Asia’s most prestigious institutions — Kyoto University.
The internship is open to students from any major. There is no minimum GPA requirement, and IELTS is not required if your current degree program is taught in English.
The internship will run from June 5 to August 6, 2026, offering selected participants a stipend, round-trip airfare, and free accommodation. To qualify for the Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Internship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled at a college or university in Asia.
- Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study before the internship begins.
- Must have at least one semester remaining after completing the internship.
- Open to both international and domestic students.
