KAIST Scholarship Requirements
- Applicants must be international students.
- KAIST offers scholarships automatically to admitted students — no separate application form is required.
- Students must maintain a GPA of 2.7 out of 4.3 after their freshman year to continue receiving the scholarship.

English Proficiency Test Requirements
- English Proficiency Test results such as IELTS, TOEFL, etc. are recommended but not mandatory.
- Applicants without an English test score can still apply.
- There are no disadvantages for not submitting the test score.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold foreign citizenship.
- Neither of the applicant’s parents should be a Korean citizen.
- Applicants of Korean origin must have completed all elementary, junior high, and high school education outside Korea.
- Applicants holding Korean citizenship (including dual citizenship) are not eligible to apply as international students.
- Applicants must pay the application fee.
