(3) Take GRE General Test & TOFEL
To submit an application, applicants can report their unofficial GRE score or official score and must request that ETS send an official score report to USEFP using code 9388. GRE general test scores are required, with a decent score for Engineering and Sciences being 315+ and 310+ for other fields. A GRE subject test is not required.
The Fulbright application requires a minimum GRE score of 138 for verbal and 136 for quantitative. Accepted applicants typically have a score in the upper percentiles. Multiple takers can report their best GRE score. TOEFL is not required during application submissions but must be taken for interviews. IELTS is not acceptable.
Step 4: Prepare Two Essays
To apply for the Fulbright program, you must submit two essays, each spanning 800 words, in the designated space on the application form. Before beginning, calm down and devise a persuasive strategy to convince the panel.

Step 7. Submit Online Application
Upload all documents and submit your application before the deadline for the Fulbright scholarship, which doesn’t require an application fee.
Step 8. Interview
Applicants are selected for interviews in mid-September, with interviews conducted in October. After submission, the application is reviewed, and if it passes, the candidate is invited to a panel interview.
If you don’t receive a message from USEFP by October, you’re not considered qualified and won’t be accepted. The interview isn’t a guarantee, but your performance during the interview will determine acceptance.
Interviews are usually conducted by a panel of four and last 15-30 minutes. Ensure to bring your TOEFL registration slip and dress appropriately.
