Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspection and isolation testing.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Follow work schedules to ensure efficient and timely completion of testing activities.
- Coordinate with the supervisor to align work schedules and address any project-related concerns or requirements.
- Read method statements, ensuring they comply with project specifications and industry standards.
- Follow relevant safety regulations and client procedures, including Permit to Work (PTW) and work front availability requirements.
- Conduct troubleshooting any electrical engineering issues that may arise during testing.
- Ensure accurate and reliable inspection & testing results.
- Identify and report defects, non-conformances, and other issues to the Supervisor.
Desired Candidate Profile
- At least 6+ years’ experience in inspection background and testing/measurements.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on testing and commissioning.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably leading a team of engineers.
- Familiarity with rail systems and/or Dubai Metro is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Technical Qualifications
- Visual inspection & testing of cables and electrical assets
- Electrical measurements, incl. isolation
- Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required
Optional Qualifications
