Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:
- Be a foreign national (non-Colombian).
- Be under 50 years of age.
- Not be married to or in a domestic relationship with a Colombian citizen.
- Have a professional, undergraduate, or graduate degree.
- Be applying for up to three Master’s programs in Colombia.
- Spanish language proficiency is recommended (but IELTS is not required).

- Letter of Admission from a Colombian university
- Academic Letter of Recommendation
- Academic Essay explaining your interest in studying in Colombia
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Proof of Spanish language skills

How to Apply – Step by Step
- Apply for Admission to a Master’s program listed in the official academic guide.
- Submit your Scholarship Application through the ICETEX online portal. Include the required documents in PDF format.
- Mail a Physical Copy of your application to the address provided by ICETEX.
- Wait for Results:
- Online results published: June 24, 2025
- Selected applicants will receive an email by: June 25, 2025
