About the Position
The Seasonal Greenkeeper will assist during the peak golf season to ensure both Glen Waverley and Oakleigh Golf Courses maintain exceptional playing conditions. You’ll perform a range of turf maintenance tasks and support the team in keeping the courses in top shape.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine turf maintenance including mowing, irrigation, and bunker care.
- Assist in course setup, line marking, and surface preparation.
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides safely and accurately.
- Operate ride-on mowers and small horticultural equipment.
- Support the Turf Team to maintain consistent presentation standards.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in horticulture or turf maintenance.
- Knowledge of course setup and turf care best practices.
- Proficiency in using small machinery and horticultural tools.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check.
- Satisfactory National Police Check.
