Work Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various farm machinery including tractors, telehandlers, forklifts, trucks, and harvesters.
- Conduct seeding, spraying, and harvesting using advanced GPS and auto-steer systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, greasing, and service checks on all farm equipment.
- Carry out farm repairs and assist with general labour, irrigation, and spraying.
- Operate earth-moving equipment (if licensed).
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality work at all times.
- Collaborate with management and other team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current Driver’s Licence (Truck licence – HR or HC preferred).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating large-scale farm machinery (300+ HP tractors).
- Proficient with auto-steer and GPS systems (GreenStar, CASE, or similar).
- Forklift licence and experience with boom sprays (Hardi, Goldacres, etc.) highly regarded.
- Practical knowledge of maintenance and mechanical repair of equipment.
- Previous experience in flood irrigation, precision planting, or self-propelled spraying is a plus.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
