Position Overview
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including staff leadership, service quality, hygiene standards, and cost control. You will work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and uphold the resort’s high standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to motivate and guide a professional service team.
Work Responsibilities
- Oversee smooth restaurant operations, including staff planning and scheduling
- Lead, train, and motivate the service team
- Ensure consistent quality, hygiene, and service standards
- Coordinate closely with kitchen, reception, and management teams
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and cost control
- Deliver exceptional guest service and handle guest feedback professionally
- Oversee wine service and beverage offerings
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Completed professional training in the hospitality industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the catering or restaurant sector
- Proven experience in a comparable management role
- Strong leadership and staff training experience
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Certified hygiene training
- Extensive wine knowledge (sommelier training is an advantage)
