Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the CERN Student Internship Program 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Bachelor’s or Master’s student (PhD students are not eligible)
- Must have completed at least three years of full-time university studies by Summer 2026
- Must remain registered as a student during the internship period
- Students graduating in Summer 2026 (from May onwards) are also eligible
- Must not have previously worked at CERN for more than three months in any capacity
- Must not have participated previously as a CERN Summer Student
- Strong knowledge of English is required; knowledge of French is an advantage
