The Russian Government Scholarship is a fully funded program offered by the Government of Russia for international students. Every year, around 30,000 quota places are allocated to students from 170 countries across 741 universities in 82 regions.
Students can pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, Specialist, and medical programs (including MBBS/General Medicine) without paying tuition fees.

How to Apply Russian Government Scholarship Fully Funded (Step by Step)

- Upload your documents (A copy of your passport or other ID, A copy of your academic certificate, your completed application form, A photo
- Online screening test in your country
- The second stage of selection (upload remaining and notarized documents)
- Attend embassy interview
- Wait for the final selection
- Get your invitation letter → Apply for a visa → Travel to Russia. Citizens from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine don’t need a visa.
Expenses you should keep in mind before going
- A voluntary health insurance policy costs between RUB 4,000 and RUB 12,000.
- Accommodation fee of RUB 300-6,000. If the university provides, then there is no need.
- 15000 RUB for food and shopping, e.g, clothes/month.
- 650 RUB for phone credit.
