About the Role
Being a Freelance Language Teacher, you will be expected to prepare motivating and effective lessons and implement the Berlitz Method. You will be teaching adults and professionals. Normally, you will be working with small groups, helping them advance in practical situations where they need to speak and gain self-assurance. It is conducive to teaching where they cultivate autonomy, and flexibility, and revel in the opportunity to work in a global context.
Work Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person language lessons using the Berlitz Method.
- Prepare and organize teaching sessions based on learner goals.
- Motivate and support students to reach their learning objectives.
- Maintain a positive and professional learning atmosphere.
- Use Berlitz teaching materials and follow pedagogical guidelines.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Must reside in Luxembourg or within a 50 km radius of Luxembourg City.
- Available for face-to-face teaching (no remote option).
- Native or near-native proficiency in one or more of the following languages:
- Luxembourgish
- German
- French
- English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior teaching experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Passionate about languages and education.
